Dr. Rhone D’Errico a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is certified as a family, psychiatric-mental health, and emergency nurse practitioner. He is a Las Vegas native who has practiced as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit, and as a nurse practitioner in mental health, primary care, college health, and the emergency department. Dr. D’Errico has experience as an educator, clinician leader, and health care executive. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Rasmussen University School of Nursing, teaching in the new PMHNP program. Dr. D'Errico was previously the founding Program Director for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada School of Nursing, where he held the rank of Assistant Professor in Residence, teaching in the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Nurse Practitioner programs. His professional and academic interests include promoting science-based psychiatric diagnosis, improving the delivery of telehealth in mental health care, and implementing innovative models of mental health treatment such as telepsychiatry, psychedelics, digital phenotyping, and neurofeedback.
