This role involves health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management for patients of all ages.

Job Details

• Location: Los Angeles, CA - A vibrant city known for its diverse culture, entertainment, and beautiful weather.
• Start Date: March 17, 2025
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour shifts; 4 shifts per week
• Hours of Operation: 8:00am - 10:00pm, 7 days per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2940 - $3160
• Flexible Schedule: Must be willing to work 14 shifts per month, including 4 weekend shifts

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
• Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California
• National board certification
• Current BLS required; ACLS certification preferred
• Prescriptive authority and DEA
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a clinical care team to deliver care in the patient's home
• Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
• Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
• Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange appropriate follow-up for patients
• Educate patients and families on managing their health and well-being
• Navigate difficult conversations related to end-of-life issues and goals of care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
• Provide care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and attend training sessions
